About Us:

History:
Beginning as a small flight school in 1982 in New Hampshire, TMC Aviation provided high quality instruction to future aviators. From Private Pilots to Airline Pilots and Flight Instructors the sky was the limit. Advanced Aircraft training was a speciality many pilot aircraft owners wanted. Focus turned to concentrating on 'Upset Recovery Training' and Aerobatics.

Over the years the company grew to addressing Aircraft Owners Avionics Training issues and systems training on their High Performance Aircraft. One topic that kept surfacing was what airplane is for me, so we developed a program to look at matching the right airplane with an owners mission. This program of finding the right match led to developing a program for transitioning into that aircraft. Owners loved it and found themselves encouraged by our comfort zone approach.

Ex-military and antique aircraft were of interest to several owners from finding the right one to purchase, transporting, rebuilding and attaining airworthiness. Although a challenge to complete the project, the rewards were well worth it for the client. Most of the request are for Production aircraft and making upgrades to customize for performance.

Global Flight Research emerged to fulfill the requests in the aircraft acquisition department. Finding, Recovery, Buying and Rebuilding is the mission of the team. We have provided airborne photography of customers aircraft. Aerial photographic views of properties and buildings. Government agencies have hired us to do aircraft recovery and aerial surveying. Airlines have hired us to supplement their training programs.

In the future Global Flight Research will address many request our aircraft owners and pilots need to satisfy their aviation experience. Academic and Educational programs that do not want to establish a full size aviation department can contract with GFR to do their airborne needs. Atmospheric research and airborne platforms for testing of inventions assist companies in keeping the costs reasonable.

If you have the need for an airborne platform, GFR is your company. We will achieve and surpass your expectations and assist you in your program development.
